Maintenance windows

Schedule planned downtime so alerts stay quiet and your SLA stays clean.

A maintenance window is a scheduled period of expected downtime. During the window, alerts for the affected monitors are suppressed and the time is excluded from uptime and SLA calculations — so a planned deploy never looks like an outage or dents your numbers.

Scheduling a window

  1. Go to Maintenance and create a window with a start and end time.
  2. Times are entered in UTC.
  3. During the window, failed checks are recorded but do not trigger alerts, and the period is carved out of uptime reports.
