Alert channels

Where Neouptime sends notifications when a monitor goes down or recovers.

Open alerts →

An alert channel is a destination for notifications. When a monitor opens or resolves an incident, Neouptime sends a message to every channel you have enabled for it.

Adding a channel

  1. Go to Alerts → + Add channel.
  2. Choose the channel type and enter its destination (email address or webhook URL).
  3. Save. The channel can be enabled or disabled at any time without deleting it.

When alerts fire

A monitor only alerts once it crosses its failure threshold — the number of consecutive failed checks required before an incident opens. This avoids noise from a single transient blip. You set the threshold and choose which channels a monitor uses on its settings page.
